عظیم و حیرت‌زاست همه‌کارهای تو

خداوند ، خدای قادر‌مطلق
Khodâvand, khodâ-ye qâder-motlaq
عدالت و حق است همه راه‌های تو
Adâlat va haq ast hame râh-hâye to
ای پادشاه همه‌اعصار
Ey pâdshâh hame-a’sâr
کیست که از تو نترسد ای‌خداوند
Kist ke az to natarsad ey-khodâvand
و نام تو را جلال ندهد
Va nâm to râ jalâl nadehd
زیرا تو تنها خدای قدوسی
Zirâ to tanhâ khodâ-ye qodosi
همه قوم‌ها نزد تو می‌آیند
Hame qowm-hâ nazd to mi-âyand
همه قوم‌ها نام تو می‌خوانند

یوشع ۴
سنگهای یادبود
۱ چون تمامی قوم از اردن گذشتند، خداوند به یوشَع فرمود:
۲ «از میان قوم دوازده تن برگیر، از هر قبیله یکی.
۳ ایشان را امر کن که از میان رود اردن، درست همان جا که پاهای کاهنان قائم ایستاده بود، دوازده سنگ برگیرند و آنها را همراه تو آورده، در منزلگاهی که امشب در آنجا به سر خواهید برد، بنهند.»
۴ پس یوشَع آن دوازده مرد را که از میان بنی‌اسرائیل برگماشته بود، یعنی از هر قبیله یکی، فرا خواند
۵ و بدیشان گفت: «پیش صندوق یهوه خدایتان به میان رود اردن بروید، و هر یک از شما یک سنگ به شمار قبیله‌های اسرائیل بر دوش خود برگیرید
۶ تا نشانه‌ای باشد در میان شما. در آینده هرگاه فرزندانتان از شما بپرسند: ”این سنگها برای شما چه معنایی دارد؟“
۷ به آنها بگویید که آبهای اردن در برابر صندوق عهد خداوند بند آمد. چون صندوق از اردن می‌گذشت، آبهای اردن از حرکت بازایستاد. پس این سنگها برای قوم اسرائیل یادبود ابدی خواهد بود.»
Joshua 4:1-7 ESV
1 When all the nation had finished passing over the Jordan, the Lord said to Joshua,
2 “Take twelve men from the people, from each tribe a man,
3 and command them, saying, ‘Take twelve stones from here out of the midst of the Jordan, from the very place where the priests’ feet stood firmly, and bring them over with you and lay them down in the place where you lodge tonight.’”
4 Then Joshua called the twelve men from the people of Israel, whom he had appointed, a man from each tribe.
5 And Joshua said to them, “Pass on before the ark of the Lord your God into the midst of the Jordan, and take up each of you a stone upon his shoulder, according to the number of the tribes of the people of Israel,
6 that this may be a sign among you. When your children ask in time to come, ‘What do those stones mean to you?’
7 then you shall tell them that the waters of the Jordan were cut off before the ark of the covenant of the Lord. When it passed over the Jordan, the waters of the Jordan were cut off. So these stones shall be to the people of Israel a memorial forever.”
